Not the most flattering picture, but he's growing so big that even being the youngest he's getting to be one of the biggest. He doesn't want the others to know that his Momma is trying to give him kisses.

Day 31 - Project 365
Ok so I have managed to do this for the entire month. Yeah me!! But I just realized that there are 366 days in the year this year. So starting tomorrow I'll have to change the title to Project 366.

Not the most flattering picture, but he's growing so big that even being the youngest he's getting to be one of the biggest. He doesn't want the others to know that his Momma is trying to give him kisses.

Day 30 - Project 365
I just reconnected with an old family friend on facebook.

She was talking about "White Trash Donuts" You take canned biscuits and fry them in the oil and then coat them with cinnamon sugar. I can do that, I bet I could even make a glaze for them too. I may not be white trash, but I could sure eat some white trash donuts.

Day 24 - Project 365
Approximately 37 years ago

I did the same thing today as then, cept I managed to make it on to the bed instead of the floor. Not much else has changed in the years. I still love my naps especially since I feel like I've caught the bug that has hit the cats and Summer and plus my shoulder is spazzing out and driving my nuts.

Day 22 - Project 365 Rainy Friday
I guess I can say the best thing about the rain right now is that I won't have to wash screens and windows for a while. Too bad that the rain drops will probably leave water spots.
This is what happens when you get too much rain at once and are under tornado warnings. I guess thats why your suppose to have an emergency radio.
>
This was at 3pm today. A huge rain shower went over, they say a tornado touched down north of here in Compton.

Day 21 - Project 365
If I wanted this much rain and snow I would live here!!!

I know we need the rain and I like the break of perfect weather, but I think I'm through with the rain for a little while. 4 storms back to back, it would have been perfect if we could have had a little break in between each of them. You know you've had enough rain when you go outside and walk on the grass and your feet get soaked because the grass can't absorb all the water.

Day 20 - 365 Project
Amazing Rain

It's too cold and wet to go outside and take pictures so I stole this one from the Press Telegram. This is the same beach as the one I'm sitting on with Mason and Sam from an earlier post.

This just blows my mind. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times I've driven this section of freeway back and forth. I'm so glad I wasn't out there yesterday. Some tow truck driver thought he was safe from it and life guards had to help rescue him. Life guards rescuing people on the freeway. Man I'm glad we didn't have a major earthquake with all this rain. Oops...knock on wood, don't want to jinx it.

Day 17 - 365 project
Well the weather men had it right.

Say good-bye to the sun for the week. Will miss you but we need the rain. My joints will be aching and my hair will be frizzy and Summer isn't going to be happy about having to wear a jacket to go outside but at least the grass will green up and the flowers won't die.

Day 14
Why do they call this a Christmas Cactus?
Christmas is over and this thing is blooming like crazy.
I guess it's suppose to be like a Poinsettia flower they don't really bloom during the winter months. They bloom in July. I know Grandma planted one and it makes me ready for Christmas in July when I see it bloom. I need to remember to water that too. We are suppose to have rain all next week, I might be off the hook for watering for a while.

Day 12 - 365 Project
Here are pictures of 2 bad ass Grandma's

This is Grandma Garlick taken last Christmas 2008. She was one tough cookie and I loved the fact that she would never have rolled her eyes at me for calling her a bad ass granny.

This is my great grandma Crook. She was one tough cookie. I remember the last summer before she died, I was so happy that I was almost as tall as she was, finally someone my size. I need to find a picture of her to post before she started to shrink, when I saw it I had no idea who that women was because I had never seen her that way. She was a bad ass just because she lived her life in Star Valley and dealt with all the snow for years without running water or indoor bathrooms or force heating.

Founded it!! This is a picture of Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Crook in their younger years.

Day 11 - 365 project
I was going through my pictures and I found this cool picture of when we were in TN last year and thought what the heck. I like the loan leaf on the tree, it wasn't there much longer because the wind and the rain started.
I still can't believe that the Smokey mountains are the highest point on the East Coast, blows my mind that the east coast doesn't have mountains like we do on the west coast. Thats why west coast people are cooler then east coast people!!!

My Twins - Day 5
They look like a two-headed cat in this picture!!!

Meadow is the head on the left. Ju-Ju aka AJ / Junior is the head on the right. They are twins from the same litter and Best Friends.

This little girl wasn't feeling good last night and had to goto the emergency room. She seems to be feeling a little better today. She hasn't eaten much yet, but when you have an upset stomach who wants to eat much anyway.

Day 4
Is it Winter or Spring?

I guess when the weather is almost in the 80's on the 3rd and 4th day of the New Year, when old man winter is suppose to be showing his head, but yet out in the front yard I have this blooming, makes me wish for spring, when winter just got here. Come on winter let's enjoy you a little longer.

365 - Day 2
OK so far so good. Here we are on Day 2. The long promised Christmas Pictures.

Mom painted this for Grandpa and Grandma Crook and after they were gone, she gave it to me. I always loved this statue and said I would paint one for me, but never got around to it. This year it was sitting on the coffee table in the living room and I caught Desmond licking the baby Jesus's head. He's such a loving kitty, but too dang fast for the camera.

Thalea gave this to me last year for Christmas. It's probably one of my most favorite things to put out for Christmas. I think I could secretly want to collect nativity sets to put out for Christmas, but I have no room to store them and since I hardly never put out my Christmas village anymore, I shouldn't put out anymore nativity sets till I take care of the Christmas village.

I love outdoor lights on houses this time of year. I think that we should keep them going all year long, but then it wouldn't make it so much fun to have them up for the month of December.

This is my most favorite find. I love snowmen and this little family with the candle toasting marshmellows is the best. I think I got it at Target at least 7 or 8 years ago..gotta love Target.
