Making Jam
Jennifer is having trouble with her blogger posting tonight so we're posting for her. Here is what she wants to share:
Six 8-ounce jars and 1 pint jar of homemade Raspberry jam with seeds. Thank you very much.
Six 8-ounce jars and 2 pints of homemade Strawberry jam - - chunky style.
And that's all she has to say about that. Wish we were there to taste it - nothing better than homemade jam!!!

1940 Census
So I've been doing some extraction, more specifically extraction on the 1940's census. They gave out badges for the states that you did and when I saw that I hurried and did some names for each of the states that were left to do. They didn't give out any more badges so I didn't get the rest of my badges but at least I have my blog to document it all on...so here's my badges
They finished extracting the census 3 months ahead of schedule, not bad for a bunch of people spread out over the world.
So here are my stats: Arkansas 40 names; California 1600 names; Connecticut 40 names; District of Columbia 40 names; Georgia 40 names; Idaho 40 names; Illinois 40 names; Kentucky 40 names; Maryland 40 names; Massachusetts 40 names; Michigan 40 names; Mississippi 40 names; New Jersey 120 names; New York 40 names; North Carolina 40 names; Ohio 40 names; Oregon 40 names; Pennsylvania 40 names; South Carolina 680 names; Tennessee 4680 names; Texas 40 names; West Virginia 40 names; Wisconsin 40 names; Wyoming 160 names.
That's 23 States, 1 District of Columbia and 7900 names total. Not as many as I hoped to do, but a nice little chunk to be a part of history.
