My Twins - Day 5

They look like a two-headed cat in this picture!!!

Meadow is the head on the left. Ju-Ju aka AJ / Junior is the head on the right. They are twins from the same litter and Best Friends.

This little girl wasn't feeling good last night and had to goto the emergency room. She seems to be feeling a little better today. She hasn't eaten much yet, but when you have an upset stomach who wants to eat much anyway.

365 - Day 2

OK so far so good. Here we are on Day 2. The long promised Christmas Pictures.

Mom painted this for Grandpa and Grandma Crook and after they were gone, she gave it to me. I always loved this statue and said I would paint one for me, but never got around to it. This year it was sitting on the coffee table in the living room and I caught Desmond licking the baby Jesus's head. He's such a loving kitty, but too dang fast for the camera.

Thalea gave this to me last year for Christmas. It's probably one of my most favorite things to put out for Christmas. I think I could secretly want to collect nativity sets to put out for Christmas, but I have no room to store them and since I hardly never put out my Christmas village anymore, I shouldn't put out anymore nativity sets till I take care of the Christmas village.

I love outdoor lights on houses this time of year. I think that we should keep them going all year long, but then it wouldn't make it so much fun to have them up for the month of December.

This is my most favorite find. I love snowmen and this little family with the candle toasting marshmellows is the best. I think I got it at Target at least 7 or 8 years ago..gotta love Target.

Project 365 - Day 1

Ok so I've seen a few people's blogs that have done or started in the middle of the year doing this project and well, since I'm not a very good blogger and probably not a very good photographer I decided I would try and do it and see how well I can stick with something.

So for Day 1 - I did go outside last night and take pictures of the lights on the house, since I was planning on taking them down today...(that didn't happen!!) But instead of showing you those pictures on the first day of this project, I'm gonna make you wait and show you the one picture that I got of the Blue Moon. Of course not really blue and I don't have the telephoto lens on so it's not the best picture but hey this blue moon on New Years Eve won't happen for another 17 to 28 years depending on who you are listening to on the news.

The leaves that are above the moon are from the Magnolia tree out in front of the house.

So that's it for Day 1 - except HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANCINE!!!
